School Based Classes
Cultivating the growth of strong, happy, resilient children in schools throughout the Cayman Islands.
Since 2013, our school based classes have offered convenience and affordability to parents, while allowing children to experience the benefits of Yoga Sprouts classes in the comfort and familiarity of their own school environment.
We currently teach 15 weekly classes at 5 different school locations. See our latest schedule and enroll your child on our Registration Page.
Our curriculum is carefully designed to support the development of our students' strength, coordination and flexibility, and we place a strong emphasis on activities that support the development of emotional self-regulation and cognitive control.
Although our classes are open to all students, we also receive many referrals from occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and school counsellors. We work closely with parents, teachers and SENCOs (Special Education Needs Coordinators) to ensure that the individual challenges children face are supported through their participation in our classes.
Our developmentally appropriate classes are all taught by Miss Sarah, a children's yoga instructor and certified elementary classroom teacher with experience in both traditional and Montessori environments.

in class or small group pull-out specialty clubs or classes

School Based Class Descriptions
(Preschool and Elementary - 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on ages)
Yoga comes to life in our fun, creative and developmentally appropriate classes. Playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques will foster your child's emotional growth, self-esteem and creativity while improving their flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. Our classes motivate children to be active, build confidence, and manage the spectrum of emotions they experience during their day to day activities. In a typical class, the children will sing, dance, skip, imagine and laugh, ALL while practicing yoga, meditation, and relaxation.
(45 minutes to 1 hour; for girls ages 6 - 12)
Our Strong Girls classes are designed to empower and motivate girls to live lives they love in bodies they love. Each class is a journey of self-discovery that supports the development of healthy friendships, positive body image, confidence, and a strong sense of self. Through both contemplative and physical activities designed to support the development of strong minds and strong bodies, girls will learn how to improve their confidence and self-esteem, build inner-strength and self-belief, grow friendships, improve their health, manage stress and gain the tools essential for living happy, healthy and inspired lives.

Kids love to figure things out, and our Little Shakers class provides opportunities to problem solve together. Discover and explore movement concepts while gaining balance, flexibility, and coordination. Animated storytelling, songs and rhymes, instruments, props, and simple choreography are all a part of the fun!
Movers and Shakers
(30 Minutes; 3 - 5 Year Olds)
Kids will explore movement concepts through imaginative play while developing funciontal mobility skills, balance, flexibility, and coordination. Instrumentation, sensory props, and simple dances will support the development of musicality and self-expression, helping all children become confident movers and shakers!
