Dear Yoga Sprouts Families,
This is not a normal registration email for our upcoming spring term, because these are not normal times.
For the past seven years, it has been my life's work to bring groups of children together to celebrate what fun it is be alive, and to follow our mission of cultivating the growth of strong, happy resilient children.
Last Friday, my ability to do this in the way I always have abruptly, and with very little notice, was taken away. We won't be coming together in person and groups for the foreseeable future.
I've spent the last week thinking deeply about how to move forward with Yoga Sprouts and how to best support the youngest members of our community and their families, through this challenging and uncertain time. We will all need strength, resilience of both mind and body, and happiness to help carry us through to whatever comes next.
Please, read on for details.
My plan is to offer live weekly classes online for babies, toddlers, younger and older children through a variety of online mediums (mainly Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube as well as at our website). I aim to supplement these classes with storytimes, shorter lessons, ideas of mindful and nature based activities to try at home, and more.
I do not want to keep these lessons, experiences and valuable resources hidden behind a paywall where only very few families are able to join.
Instead, I want to share these tools with as many children in Cayman, and beyond, that I can, at a time where they are needed more than ever before.
And so, it is my hope, and my wish, that Yoga Sprouts will be able to connect with some sponsors (either personal or corporate) from within our Yoga Sprouts families, who are also interested in sharing these gifts with our entire community.
I am asking of all my families, and all the companies that you work for and with, and operate, if you may be interested in funding this upcoming term of Yoga Sprouts Cayman Online, either in part, or in full. I never set out to make it rich when I launched Yoga Sprouts - our operating costs are very low, and I aim to make equivalent of a school teacher each year through my classes. So, one term, equates to about 1/3 of a teacher's salary.
If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity to give to the community at a time when it is so greatly needed, please visit the homepage of our website www.YogaSproutsCayman.com for additional details, and please be back in touch with me no later than Wednesday, March 25.
If I'm unable to make this work, it'll be back to the drawing board. With Easter Break fast approaching (and a break from school work), I'd like to have some content ready to share in preparation to help fill that gap.
Stay tuned for an additional email later this week about a free live online class that your children can join me for - it's the last week of the current term:)

Yoga Sprouts is a mobile children’s yoga studio. We host classes, workshops, birthday parties and special events at locations throughout the Cayman Islands.
Yoga comes to life in our fun, creative and developmentally appropriate classes. Playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and imaginative relaxation techniques will foster your child's emotional growth, self-esteem and creativity while improving their flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. Our classes motivate children to be active, build confidence, and manage the spectrum of emotions they experience during their day to day activities. In a typical class, the children will sing, dance, skip, imagine and laugh, ALL while practicing yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation. We have SO much fun - your little one will love Yoga Sprouts!
Class Details and Registration
Below you'll find registration details for both our community based classes and our school based classes, as well as our Girls' Nights Out.
Register early to avoid disappointment, as many of our offerings tend to fill up!
School Based Classes
Our school based Yoga Sprouts classes take place onsite at schools and are offered as after school, before school, lunch time clubs, and in preschools, also as pull-out enrichment classes. Parents do not attend our school based classes, and your child must be enrolled as a student at the school in order to attend the yoga classes.
Please click on the school name below to see the details on our offerings at that location. In most cases, you can register online, but some schools manage the registration process.
Below you'll find all the details on our weekly classes for participants ages 3 months to 8 years.

Tots Yoga provides a positive shared routine to carry young families through what can be a challenging time as they tackle tantrums and boundary testing. Relaxation and energetic activity are contrasted and balanced, providing a foundation for a healthy lifestyle.
